Here at Wincombe Kitchens, Bathrooms and Bedrooms, our focus is on high-quality interior design at sensible prices. We believe in giving our customers their inspired kitchen, bathroom or bedroom, providing both practical and innovative designs to suit their requirements. We are a family owned and managed business that was established in 1998, initially supplying purpose-built kitchen furniture to the building trade covering Dorset and the surrounding areas. In fact, we even go further if needed!

We have evolved over the years to offer a full design, supply and installation service to both homeowners and trade, which we believe has the best customer service in the area as we pride ourselves on our after sales service. Our Process

Consultation

Our process starts with a discussion with you to find out your wish list and to arrange a site visit to obtain the measurements, but we can also initially get these from your own drawings or architects plans.

Design Work

We prepare an initial design or maybe 2 or 3 further options for you to see, this can be amended as many times as you like until you are happy with it!

Your Approval

Once the design has been approved, we can then provide a full quotation based on the design and style choices you have made – don’t worry, we can still make amendments as we go!

The Fitting

When you have decided on your design and quote and have booked in a start date, we then send a member of the fitting team to the site to check final measurements and go through the layout with you. Don’t worry – yes, even at this stage we can STILL make amendments to suit!

Director

Wendy Powner

I joined the business which was started by my dad in 1999 so I have now been in the industry for many years and he taught me most of what I know. He has since retired but remains very much invested in the business and often pops in to assist if needed! Over the years I have gained knowledge on practical, as well as visually pleasing, kitchen, bathrooms and bedroom designs for all types of properties. I oversee the business as a whole, meet with our clients to discuss their requirements, create the designs and prepare the quotes, along with all the other day to day duties running a business involves. It’s challenging but very rewarding when you have very happy clients at the end of the project!

Design Consultant

Kim Chapman

I joined the company in May 2018 from within the industry and I focus on the design aspect and will visit customers off-site or in our showroom to discuss their ideas. I will then come up with some options for the customer to see what suits their needs and design preferences best.

Fitter

Ian Sanger

I have been fitting kitchens for over 20 years and am very experienced at fitting a range of kitchen, bathroom and bedroom styles. With my ‘can-do’ attitude I am able to overcome all aspects of a fitting, including all the plumbing and carpentry.

Chris Andrews

I have been a carpenter for many years and I joined the business in April 2016. Now, I mainly fit bathrooms but I can turn my hand to a range of different roles when required.

Pete Hunt

I have been a specialist in the logistics of putting kitchens together for over 9 years. I get involved in site surveys, assisting with fitting, and making sure everything is all together and delivered on time.

Accounts & Admin

Shan Blandin de Chalain

I joined the company in March 2018 after moving here from South Africa. My main duties are admin and processing the accounts, but I also help in the showroom when needed. I enjoy interacting with customers and I am always happy to help.
